Cassamira Ann had married Charles Henry Gibson in 1920 and at the time
of the Murchison earthquake they had four children; Gladys Elizabeth 8 years;
Nancy Isabel 6 years; Gurchen Alexander 5 years; and Wilfred Charles 3 years.
Cassamira and her four children went to Nelson together with the other "refugees"
where
she and three of the children lodged with R S Andrews, Richmond before
returning to the Murchision area.
The other child, probably Gladys Elizabeth,
lodged with her Aunt Minnie Claire Gibson with Mrs Henman, 69 Vanguard
Street, Nelson. |
